I use a website called Analogue Wonderland to order my films from currently, they do a mystery box which is 4 mystery films, so you get to experiment with new types. Sometimes you get some wonderful stuff but other times it's a bit disappointing, especially since film development is so expensive these days. Anyway, one of the more disappointing films was this one, but here are some of the highlights...
Harman Phoenix 200 using Canon Sure Shot 85 Zoom:
Sewerby, Bridlington
Danes Dyke, Bridlington
Little gig in the Italian gardens, Scarborough
Cosmo pup
Regatta in the rain, Filey
Cosmo pup
Cosmo and I
Green bridge, Filey
We were soaked!
On one hand I enjoyed the aged, deteriorated look to some of these photos but found the colours far too warm, over-saturated and with too much grain, a lot of detail and realism was missed, also they were too dark and out of 36 exposures, only a handful, I feel, are presentable. T'is a shame, but we learn by trial and error. I'll be switching back to my trusty Kodak Gold for a while, to capture all of the nuance of autumn.
