I'm taking a step back from film photography for a while due to the cost of it all. I used up my last remaining film in autumn which I shall post below.
In 2026 I am experimenting with using my own filters to create a gentle film-style look and cropping them 3:2 digitally.
I have been researching alternative, cheaper options that mimic the look, feel and satisfaction you get with film. One of those options was the Campsnap camera, a screen-free, retro-aesthetic digital camera but upon reading reviews and seeing examples of photos I think it's perhaps too much hype and actually not great quality. I think would be better off using mindful techniques whilst taking photos and editing with my phone. I might post about it here at some point, but until then, here's my last film the Kodak Colorplus 200 using the Canon Sure Shot Sleek.
