Snowy Fish Eye 2024 - Revolog Snovlox

This was more of an experimental combination, using Revolog Snovlox film - a black and white film pre-exposed with 'snowflakes' or white orbs scattered over it. I was sent this film in summer and so there's a mixture of various events as subject matter - not that you can really tell as sadly the results were disappointing.
I also used my Lomography Fish Eye camera as I thought the combination of both effects could be unique and cool but as you can tell the photos came out mostly unrecognisable.

A friend of mine said she appreciated the artistry of the photos and whilst I can see what she means, I'm having trouble understanding why the photos came out so high contrast and dark as the majority of the photos were taken in daylight. When looking at examples of both the film and the camera used by other people, photos taken appeared bright, this has lead me to believe that perhaps the scanning machine used to develop the photos has taken the 'snowflakes' as a light reference and so has reduced all the other shades right down to be very dark - thus it was perhaps an error in development? The particular company I use has let me down twice when developing now so I am apprehensive to use them again as it's obviously not cheap.
